IMPORTANT NOTICE: Any juror notified who, without reasonable excuse fails to be in attendance at the court in obedience of such notice, or who files a false claim of exemption from jury service, can be held in contempt and may be fined up to $100.
If you receive a jury summons in the mail, you are required to report for jury duty at the City of Lubbock Municipal Court on the date and at the time specified in your summons. You must fill out the bottom section of the summons and bring it with you to Municipal Court located at 915 Avenue J, between 10th Street and Avenue J.

If you have an exemption and wish to claim it, fill out the information on the Jury Exemption Statement part of your jury summons. Sign your name and date, and return it to the Municipal Court Jury Room prior to the date you are summoned to report for jury service.
You may also mail the form using first class mail. If mailing
the form, place the completed Jury Exemption statement in a standard
size envelope and affix first class postage. Write the following address
